'house' is the conclusion of many years of artistic and personal research on giving and taking space, bundled in a publication. Rosa Vrij, alongside her partner Ben Weir, delves into the intimate space they share. What started as a reflection on their relationship and house in 2018 evolved into a captivating exploration of the intersection between the body and architecture, the ‘I’ and the other.

This publication unfolds like a puzzle, comprised of five distinct book parts elegantly held together in a metal frame. The book can be suspended from your wall like a literary painting. The unique design invites readers to embark on a non-linear journey, navigating through texts, drawings, photographs, and chat messages that form an ever-evolving narrative.
